Figheadh Yarnworks McGuinness Branch Socks by Jennifer Hagan – Pattern #2228 – The lace pattern reminds me of a branch eddying ‘round stones on its merry way. I chose to name these socks after a branch that ran behind my grandparents’ home in Chambers County, Alabama. The site of many Easter Egg hunts and summertime play, its memory makes me happy, just like these socks. They feature cuff-to-toe construction with a classic round heel and grafted toe. These socks are made with Fingering weight yarn, approx 400 yds., they used Cascade Yarns Heritage Sock Yarn, one skein, color #5614. However you may use any yarn that will give you the same gauge.
