Description
Araucania – Huasco Aran Kettle Dyed is a soft wool/nylon blend great accessories and apparel. This yarn has a great depth of color due to the kettle dyeing process. It is hand-dyed and is a wonderful tonal yarn. A very springy yarn and a joy to work!
Yarn that is kettle dyed is placed in a small amount of water and the artist begins with placing the dye into the water. The yarn absorbs the yarn slightly unevenly. This is what produces the variations and intensity of the shades. This dying is what makes any kettle dyed yarn special.
